Build Your Convention Experience – Powered by EdFed
Thanks to our mission partner, Educational Federal Credit Union (EdFed),
attendees will have access to the Florida PTA Leadership Convention Mobile App
in the lead-up to the convention. You’ll be able to view sessions, bookmark
favorites, and build your personalized schedule as offerings are added.
Leadership-Focused Workshops
Workshops will focus on core PTA leadership skills in governance, advocacy,
family engagement, and organizational effectiveness, and are designed to move
leaders from strong fundamentals to inspired action.
Plenary & Panel Discussions
Join us for plenary sessions and panel discussions that highlight impactful PTA
programs, innovative engagement approaches, and real-world examples of PTA
leadership making a difference across Florida. One session will include a youth
panel.
Reflections Showcase
Celebrate student creativity through Florida PTA’s Reflections program, featuring
visual arts, music, dance, photography, and more. This showcase highlights
student voice and artistic expression from across the state.
Student Track
Our Student Track returns with leadership development sessions designed
specifically for youth attendees, creating space for learning, engagement, and
growth.
CPR Basics Exposure Session
This introductory session provides attendees with practical knowledge of CPR
fundamentals. While not a certification course, it offers valuable awareness and
preparedness.
Surprise Giveaways During General Sessions
Be present during the General Sessions for surprise giveaways; attendance is
required to win.
Business Meeting
At this convention, we will be electing and installing new officers, discussing
resolutions, and potential bylaw amendments.
Returning Favorites
PTA’s Got Talent: Fairytale– Our annual talent show returns with a new theme, celebrating creativity while supporting a great cause, the Florida PTA Student Scholarship Fund.
Scholarship Basket Raffle – Support Florida PTA’s Student Scholarship Fund through baskets donated by local units and councils
Attendees will have the opportunity to schedule a complimentary professional headshot session. Appointments will be available and encouraged.
