Important workshop information:

  • Sessions will be 45 minutes long.  If your presentation includes a Question-and-Answer (Q & A) period, please adjust your time accordingly. Certain workshops have a meet-up session on Sunday for Q & A. Before you shorten your workshop for Q & A, please verify if you have a meet-up on Sunday for this purpose.
  • PTA encourages members to go green! Remember, you are responsible for any handouts. Please be mindful that in an effort to go green, we prefer to limit handouts.  If you must have them, please make all copies prior to coming to the Leadership Convention as there will be limited access to a copier. It is important that any and all handouts be approved by the VP of Leadership Development and President or President-Elect before printing and distributing.
  • Your PowerPoint presentation and any pdf documents will be made available to attendees through our mobile app during the Leadership Convention. It is strongly encouraged that you refer attendees to the online resources.
  • Title, workshop descriptions, and presentation materials may be edited for content and/or space as needed.
  • Your PowerPoint and other pdf documents must be uploaded to the Florida PTA website using the “Presentation and AV Information Form” (above link) no later than May 17, 2019.
