Current and incoming board members, administrators, teachers, and students are invited to attend.  Encourage any members who have demonstrated that spark of leadership potential to register.  This event is open to any PTA/PTSA member interested in improving the lives of children and youth. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ATTENDEES

Please review the Delegate Listing by CLICKING HERE. The number of voting delegates your PTA will be eligible to send to Leadership/Convention is located next to your PTA/PTSA’s name.  According to the Florida PTA Bylaws, Article XVI, Section 3, “These voting delegates and their alternates shall be elected in an open meeting or at a meeting of the executive board and shall have been members in the unit for at least thirty days prior to the time of their election”.  If you have any questions, please contact the state office at 1-800-373-5782 or 407-855-7604 or by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .  There is no limit to the attendees you can send, there is only a limit to voting delegates per PTA.  (CLICK HERE to read about Convention Credentialing.)

An ALTERNATE FORM,(for voting purposes), is required if one of your pre-registered voting delegates is unable to attend the Leadership/Convention. The president must print and sign the form authorizing the change of a voting delegate. (The replacement attendee/alternate will need to bring with them the signed form and a copy of the minutes that reflect that they were elected in an open meeting or at a meeting of the executive board and shall have been a member in the unit for at least thirty days prior to the time of their election.)

The ON-SITE REGISTRATION VOTING FORM, (included on page 9 of the Registration Packet above), is for anyone registering “on-site” at the Leadership/Convention. This form must be printed and signed by the PTA president in  order for the delegate to vote. A valid membership card AND other valid ID is required when you pick up your registration packet.  Also required for on site registration: minutes from the meeting where the voting delegate was elected to attend Convention.

The ON-SITE REGISTRATION NON-VOTING FORM, (included on page 9 of the Registration Packet above),  is for anyone registering “on-site” at the Leadership/Convention. This form must be printed and signed by the PTA president in order for the delegate to attend. The registrant will be allowed to attend all meetings but will not be allowed to vote.

NO MEAL TICKETS will be sold at the registration desk, you must purchase special meal tickets through pre-registration before June 20, 2014.
