"Students Combating Dropout"
Are you aware of the fact that at least one student here in the United States of
America drops out of school every thirty seconds? Do you wonder what would cause
a student to feel so overwhelmed that he or she would decide to give up on their
education? Do you feel that that our children are headed in the right direction
and things will just work themselves out? Should we as students, parents, and
volunteers silently accept our current condition as fate and not equip our
children and ourselves to fight and win in the conflict against youth dropping
out of school? Do we even know where the battlefield is?
Come and join us at Innisbrook in Tarpon Springs, Florida as we dissect this
issue. We will discuss Dropout Prevention & Peer Pressure. Parents and students
will leave the sessions with a renewed commitment to education.
